Therapy
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a space to slow down, get curious about what is happening beneath the surface, and experiment with new ways of relating to yourself and others. Our work might explore anxiety, trauma, sexuality, gender, relationships, chronic illness or disability, burnout, grief, neurodivergence, or major life transitions.
My approach is collaborative, relational, and grounded in somatic and parts-based work.
Individual therapy is available virtually to clients located in Michigan and Illinois. Telehealth therapy is not a substitute for a higher level of care when more intensive or immediate support is needed. Please reach out if you have questions.
Supervision & Consultation
I provide weekly clinical supervision for limited-license social workers practicing in Michigan and Illinois, with space to develop clinical judgment, professional identity, ethics, boundaries, case conceptualization, and a sustainable way of being a therapist.
I also offer consultation to therapists and coaches seeking additional support around sex therapy*, gender, disability, relationships, and affirming work with queer and trans clients. Consultation can be one-time or ongoing and does not replace supervision when formal clinical supervision is required for licensure or employment.
*I am not a Certified Sex Therapy Supervisor (CST-S)
Workshops & Organizational Training
I design virtual and in-person interactive workshops and trainings for organizations, professionals, communities, parents, and other groups. My facilitation combines education, reflection, conversation, and concrete skills participants can actually use outside the room.
Existing workshops and trainings include:
-
Gender Inclusivity — building more affirming and practically inclusive organizations and communities
-
Consent Skill-Building Across the Lifespan — developing language and practices for boundaries, autonomy, asking, listening, and responding to “no”
-
Pleasure Mapping for the Body — exploring sensation, embodiment, preference, and pleasure without a predetermined goal
-
What Do I Even Like? — understanding and communicating your own desire
-
Creating Your Own Relationship — a guided workshop for identifying values, questioning inherited relationship scripts, and intentionally creating agreements that fit the people involved
Trainings can also be adapted or developed around the needs of a particular organization or community.
Podcast Production
I have created and produced three award-winning podcasts focused on gender and sexuality. I offer podcast production support for educators, clinicians, advocates, organizations, and other people who have something worth saying but don't necessarily want to become audio engineers to say it.
Depending on the project, support can include concept development, episode structure, interviewing, recording workflows, editing, production, and translating complex ideas about gender, sexuality, relationships, and social issues into engaging audio.
Coaching
Coaching offers a collaborative space for exploration, reflection, skill-building, and movement toward personally meaningful goals. It may be useful for people exploring sexuality, gender, relationships, pleasure, communication, identity, life transitions, or questions about what they want next.
Coaching is not psychotherapy and is not a substitute for mental health treatment. It is not appropriate for diagnosing or treating mental health conditions, providing clinical documentation, crisis care, or replacing therapy when therapy is clinically indicated. If your needs fall within the scope of psychotherapy, I will recommend working with an appropriately licensed mental health professional.
